What is the best preparation for a successful ERP project?

To achieve ERP project success, you must meet at least 30 to 40 relevant conditions. However, if you miss 1 or 2 important ones, it can immediately jeopardize your project

These days, project success is much more about your organisation, the mindset of your team and the passion for the project than about the infinite possibilities of the modern technology.

The most important goal of an ERP project is to achieve long-term project success!

And that all starts with thinking carefully about what success looks like for your organisation.

Unfortunately, most ERP buyers are inexperienced. Sometimes even naive. And oftentimes unreasonably optimistic.

They therefore run great risks of falling into all imaginary pitfalls.

That is precisely why the successful Dutch Microsoft Dynamics 365 partner Bluace organized a so-called ERP Transformation Masterclasses. Aimed at the senior management of their existing and potential customers. Intended to substantially increase their chances of project success. Because many risks are easy to reduce or even avoid if organisations are well prepared.

In the beautiful Van Nelle factory in Rotterdam we had an inspiring day. With good discussions. Valuable exercises. Many learning moments. And sometimes confronting messages. Luckily we also had some fun together. 😊

All participants returned home with a bag full of good ideas and a well-filled workbook with highly valuable insights and notes.

This is what CCO Ronald Evers said after this Masterclass:

“Guus holds up a mirror to executive teams in a way that we, as an implementation partner, cannot do ourselves. Our participants went home with sharper objectives, a more honest view of their own organizations and the right questions for their steering committees. For us, this Masterclass is the best preparation for a successful project that we can offer our customers.”

Bluace really got a taste for it now. The company already prepares for a second Masterclass edition in early 2027.
